Police seek alleged thrifty thief in robbery attempt | Business

While many families are dreaming of sugar plum fairies this holiday season, one pajama clad crook dreamed of getting away with a thrifty theft at a local Dollar General Store.

On Saturday, police were called to the Dollar General Store, located at 4515 S. May after receiving reports of an armed robbery.

Authorities say a man wearing a yellow shirt and pajama pants walked to the cash register and allegedly showed the clerk a gun in his waistband.

The clerk did not respond to the man and just stared at him.

Eventually, the suspect walked away.
