OKLAHOMA CITY – Three men led Oklahoma City Police on a short chase early Tuesday morning.

It ended with the getaway car crashing into a house.

It happened near N.W. 85th St. and Harvey.

Neighbors raced outside when they heard the commotion and they said they couldn’t believe their eyes.

“When it’s that big of a bang, I wonder what is up,” Marvin Hutcherson said. “I see that car there and thought wow someone tried to drive up through here!”

The driver also knocked down a stop sign as he tried to escape.

Neighbors said they’re surprised something like this could happen so close to home.

“Crime happens a lot,” Kendall Butler said. “But it’s not normal for people to run into peoples’ houses.”

No one was hurt in the crash.

Bryan’s lover makes shocking statement about defendant

EL RENO, Okla. – A shocking slip of the tongue on the witness stand Monday from a former lover of a murder trial defendant prompts a Canadian County judge to instruct the jury to disregard the comment.

It came during testimony in the Becky Bryan trial.

Bryan is accused of killing her husband of 33 years inside their Mustang home back in September of 2011.

The victim is Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan.

Becky claimed an intruder shot her husband but she was arrested after authorities found the gun used in the shooting in the clothes dryer.

Wesley Hubert knew Becky Bryan as his Realtor but testified Monday in El Reno their relationship was also sexual.

When asked by prosecutors exactly when he slept with Becky, Hubert responded “the same day she shot her husband.”

Trash overflows at metro complex

OKLAHOMA CITY – A metro apartment complex overrun with trash for nearly 12 days has finally been cleaned up.

The past four pick up days were skipped at the Quail Ridge Apartment complex near Memorial Rd. and May Ave. due to a billing issue leaving the dumpsters filled beyond capacity.

Residents called News Channel 4 this weekend to report the problem saying it was not only disgusting but likely a health hazard.

The good news is that trash was finally picked up Monday afternoon.

It was the first time since the first of the month.

The management company tells us it was all a complicated billing mistake.

The complex typically has the trash picked up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

However the past four pick ups were skipped leaving the dumpsters overflowing with trash.
